A submersible pump is a type of water pump that is fully submerged in water to push liquid to the surface. It is commonly used in deep wells, borewells, and underground water sources.
HOW A SUBMERSIBLE PUMP WORKS :
- Submersion in Water – The pump is placed inside water, fully submerged.
- Motor Activation – When switched on, the motor inside the pump starts running.
- Impeller Action – The impeller rotates, creating pressure to push water upwards.
- Water Discharge – Water is forced through a pipe to the surface for use.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- These are indicative commercial rates for dealer quotation purpose.
- Actual pump HP and model are to be selected based on beneficiary's dynamic water level, water yield, required discharge (LPM), total head and pipe length.
- Surface pumps are suitable only for water level up to 20–25 ft (suction limit). For more depth, a submersible pump is recommended.
